For the past five years, we've been renting The Scarboro House. The initial year was fantastic, but over the last four, the place has really gone downhill due to lack of upkeep. Getting in touch with the realtor was a real hassle, and they hardly ever called back. This will definitely be our final year in this rental.

Neat place, nice scenery, tucked away spot. Eateries and the town are close by if you need to grab something, great for families. The only improvement would be having a flat yard for the kiddos, but that’s tough to find on a mountainside.

This rental property is amazing! I’ll definitely come back whenever I can.

This condo is spotless. The location is gorgeous. Setting everything up was a breeze. Definitely gonna use it again!

I gotta say, this was an amazing experience! My fiancé and I reserved Changes In Altitudes for his birthday, and every moment was just so peaceful and lovely. The place is loaded with everything you could possibly need. Those down comforters and the softest quilt bedspreads are something else! Booking online was a breeze, and they followed up with a call for payments and confirmations. They were super helpful with all my questions as well. We’re definitely coming back next May!

Great experience

The view is absolutely stunning, but the house could use some improvements. If you have trouble moving around, this place might not be the best fit. The wood stove gets in the way of the entrances to the bedrooms and bathrooms, making it tough to navigate if you're using a walker or wheelchair, especially with the support pole nearby. Also, neither bathroom has any grab bars, which made bathing feel a bit unsafe. The living room furniture is in dire need of an upgrade; sitting on the couch felt like sinking right to the springs—definitely not comfy. The TV only picked up local channels, and even those would pixelate and freeze at times, which was frustrating. On the plus side, the beds were cozy, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The downside was that every cabinet was packed, leaving us with no space for the food we brought except on the counter. The bathrooms looked recently updated and were nice, but again, the absence of safety bars was a concern. It was peaceful, and you really can't beat that view. We hope this feedback helps the owner understand that not all guests are young and fit, and maybe they'll consider making some safety updates to enhance the experience. Thanks for having us!

We had an awesome experience at this cabin. The kids really loved splashing around in the river. The rental agency was super helpful and friendly.

While we were renting, a repair technician showed up at our home without any heads-up. It was quite a surprise to walk in and see someone we didn’t know claiming to be there for repairs, especially with all our stuff—cash, phones, and laptops—just sitting out in the open. When we checked out, there was a mix-up. We ended up being billed an extra $342, and there was no thought given to our situation.
